Instructions
  1. Cream butter, gradually add sugar then blend well.
  2. Stir in salt, vanilla and eggs.
  3. Add melted chocolate.
  4. Sift together cake flour and baking soda.
  5. Add flour mixture and buttermilk alternately to chocolate mixture.
  6. Pour into two 9-inch cake tins.
  7. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350°.
