Sisky (pronounced shish-kee) are a traditional Bohemian bismark. This is my grandmother’s recipe from ‘way back.
Mix together yeast, sugar and egg yolks.
Mix in cream and flour like raised dough and let rise until doubled in bulk.
Place on floured board and roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut into 2-1/2-inch rounds.
Let rise about 30 minutes.
Fry in deep fat heated to 375° until golden brown.
When cool, top each with apricot or prune filling.
